An engineering company for renewable energy
IEE plans, installs and commissions photovoltaic systems, battery storage, heat pumps and EV charging points across Germany. Planning, electrical design, grid registration and installation are all in house, in twenty departments at our own site in Gifhorn, Lower Saxony.
An engineering office, not a call centre
Fifty-nine people work in twenty departments at our Gifhorn site, alongside a field sales organisation of roughly two hundred representatives. The structure is the argument: a company that sells but does not plan has no reason to run separate DC and AC engineering teams.
Planning and engineering in house
Every system is designed and calculated individually. DC planning and AC planning are two separate departments, not one desk with two job titles.
Grid registration is its own department
Five people work on nothing else. In Germany every distribution grid operator runs its own procedure, and registration and commissioning notification are two separate filings. We handle both and issue the installer's declaration ourselves.
Installation crews are our own
Three installation departments, DC, AC and heat pumps, alongside warehouse and logistics, fleet management and after-sales service.
No quotation without a site visit
We check the structural, electrical and consumption situation on site before we put a figure on paper. If a system does not pay for itself, we say so.

Figures as at 8 July 2026, from our own project planning department. These are counted installations, not projections, and they do not tick upwards on their own.
